As Head Product Designer and Developer at Marlo Sport, I led products from concept through production, overseeing both design and development. I emphasized clean, functional design rooted in the brand’s minimalist, retro-inspired aesthetic. I oversaw prototyping, material selection, and communication with manufacturers to bring ideas into finished products.

The following are projects from my role as Head Designer and Developer at Marlo Sport

Marlo Sport needed a backpack designed specifically for pickleball to better serve players who wanted a purpose-built alternative to generic gym bags. The goal was a clean, minimal design that fit seamlessly into everyday use while still offering thoughtful functionality. Multiple exterior pockets provide easy organization for balls, accessories, and personal items, while two dedicated paddle sleeves allow players to carry and protect their paddles.

Spectre

Paddle

Series

I was tasked with designing a new paddle for the upcoming Spectre pro line, featuring Gen 4 full foam core technology. The goal was to create a high-performance paddle that maximized control and responsiveness while staying to the brand’s aesthetic. This involved careful consideration of shape, color, and surface texture to showcase the capabilities of the new foam core and appeal to existing customers by keeping in line with the brands identity.

HypeDry

Towel

The HypeDry Towel was created to broaden MarloSport’s product line, providing a simple solution for athletes to stay dry during workouts. With convenience at the forefront, it easily clips to a MarloSport backpack or a fence, making it ready whenever it’s needed. Compact, durable, and functional, the towel enhances the users experience by providing a simple solution to keep them more comfortable while on the court

Splash Series Sleeves

I designed the Splash Series pickleball paddle packaging to work seamlessly for both adult and kids sizes, tackling the challenge of creating a system that looked great across six vibrant colorways. The design also needed to function cohesively for the Mini+Me bundle, pairing an adult and kids paddle in a way that felt intentional and visually unified. This project allowed me to solve complex design constraints while keeping the packaging fun, flexible, and aligned with the energetic personality of the Splash Series
